📋 Instructions

All the required documents, including an Agency Agreement, for appointing Dilas as your Customs broker will be generated in PDF format when you enter the required information. You can save them to your records.

You will receive an email with further instructions once the form is completed.

Account setup forms include:

  • Agency Agreement — authorizes Dilas International Customs Brokers to file import declarations to Canada Customs on importer's behalf. Your company must have a business number import account (RM) to be able to register with us. If you do not have an RM account, you can obtain it through the CARM Client Portal.   • Master Carrier Authority — authorizes Dilas International Customs brokers to obtain transportation documents directly from carriers.

The purpose of this Agreement is to authorize Dilas International Ltd. (Licensed Canadian Customs Broker, Business number export/import account 80445 1144 RM 0001) to transact the following business with Canada Border Services Agency:

a) Accounting of duties & taxes in respect of imported goods released under section 32 of the Customs Act at all customs offices in Canada

note: Importers are responsible for payment of duties and taxes directly to CBSA on the CARM Client Portal.

b) Processing of CAD adjustments

c) Accessing importer's CARM account

An agent (customs broker) is considered in law to represent the principal (importer) in such a way as to be able to affect the principal's legal position. However, the principal remains liable for any transactions completed on its behalf by its agent.
