Customs Entry
Customs Entry fee is a brokerage fee for releasing and accounting for a regular one line import shipment, which does not require paper release or any additional services, and can be submitted utilizing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) system.
for a Low Value shipment
Shipments that are valued less than CAD 1600.00.

Shipments that are valued equal or more than CAD 1600.00.

Disbursement
Percent of Customs Duties & GST (not value of the shipment), when paid by a credit card (for business clients applies only to duties, if on GST direct payment). Not applicable if paid by a certified cheque or wire transfer.

For items regulated by CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) and NRCan (Natural Resources Canada). CFIA regulate food and food-related items. NRCan regulate equipment containing electric motors.

Value of the goods
Indicate total value of the goods on the invoice.
Number of different types of
items on the invoice
Different sizes, colors of items considered to be one type. For example: blue shirts of size XL and white shirts of size M are classified under the same tariff classification number.
Food & food-related items
Check if your shipment contains: human food, animal feed, food supplements, vitamins and the like.
Items containing electric motors
Check if your shipment contains industrial equipment and household items containing electric motors.
Vehicle
